Our process

We turn complexity into orderly decision-making

01
Diagnose

Understand the starting point. We analyze consumption profiles, demand, tariff structures, installed capacity, and operational conditions to determine the company's current level of energy control.

Deliverable
Energy control diagnosis and rating.
02
Identify

Detect limitations and opportunities. We identify the factors that limit competitiveness, growth, or energy stability, as well as the solutions that allow for increased control and reduced operational and financial exposure.

Deliverable
Needs and improvement opportunities map.
03
Structure

Define the implementation roadmap. We present a phased strategy, integrating the most suitable solutions for your operation: qualified supply, generation, efficiency, automation, backup, or energy infrastructure.

Deliverable
Comprehensive energy transition plan.
04
Support

We support the implementation, operation, and evolution of the project to ensure continuity, stability, and sustained energy control, generating results from the very first stages.

Deliverable
Continuous monitoring and permanent optimization.

Frequently asked questions

Clarity amidst complexity

We answer the most common questions decision-makers face when evaluating a change in their energy scheme.

Is the main benefit cost savings?

Not necessarily. In many cases, savings are a byproduct of the project, but companies are also looking for: budget certainty, scalability, operational continuity, risk reduction, lower exposure to rate volatility, ESG compliance, and emissions reduction.

What changes physically when migrating to the Wholesale Electricity Market?

Practically nothing regarding the plant's physical infrastructure. Power continues to be delivered through the same national grid operated by CFE and coordinated by CENACE. The real change occurs at the contractual, financial, strategic, and operational levels.

Does Kualion only help with qualified supply?

No. Qualified supply is just one of the available tools. Depending on the level of energy control each company requires, Kualion can integrate dedicated generation, energy efficiency, automation, backup, storage, ESG transition, or electrical infrastructure.

Does Kualion only get involved once a company has already decided to migrate?

No. We typically get involved much earlier. We help determine if migration is the right move, when to do it, what the risks are, and which combination of solutions makes the most sense for your operations.

Does Kualion control everything that happens in the system?

No. The National Interconnected System continues to be operated by CENACE, and the physical infrastructure remains primarily owned by CFE. What Kualion does is strategically manage how the company purchases, structures, and handles its energy within the electricity market.

What sets Kualion apart from other players in the industry?

Most industry players only supply energy. Beyond supply, Kualion helps companies understand, structure, and manage their energy strategy holistically. We don't just look for a better price; we analyze capacity, risk, operational continuity, growth, regulation, and energy control to design solutions aligned with each company's reality.

Does the quality or continuity of the power change when migrating?

No. The power comes from the same National Interconnected System and uses the same physical infrastructure. The continuity, quality, and electrical performance remain the same.

Does migrating involve installing new infrastructure or changing cables?

Not necessarily. In most cases, the company continues to use the exact same existing electrical infrastructure. Adjustments are typically related to: metering, communication, regulatory compliance, and specific technical modifications.

Does Kualion supply renewable energy?

Kualion structures energy portfolios that can integrate renewable generation, high-efficiency technologies, and environmental instruments such as I-RECs, depending on each client's operational and ESG goals.
