About us

Why
Kualion?

Because understanding your company's energy needs requires more than just looking at rates. It requires clarity about your actual requirements, technical judgment to interpret the market, and the ability to turn complexity into concrete decisions.
Positioning

Kualion is a company that brings order to complexity

We are not an energy intermediary. We are the technical and strategic team that transforms energy uncertainty into a documented competitive advantage for large-scale industrial consumers.
We are
A long-term strategic technical partner
CRE-authorized supplier in the MEM
Accredited representatives before CENACE
We are not
A generic rate broker
A consultancy without in-house execution
A basic energy supplier
An actor without regulatory permits
Order as a competitive advantage
In highly complex regulated markets like the Mexican Wholesale Electricity Market (MEM), the differentiator isn't the price of energy: it's the ability to structure decisions with integrated technical, legal, and commercial criteria. That is Kualion.
Our process

We turn complexity into orderly decision-making

01
Diagnose

Understand the starting point. We analyze consumption profiles, demand, tariff structures, installed capacity, and operational conditions to determine the company's current level of energy control.

Deliverable
Energy control diagnosis and rating.
02
Identify

Detect limitations and opportunities. We identify the factors that limit competitiveness, growth, or energy stability, as well as the solutions that allow for increased control and reduced operational and financial exposure.

Deliverable
Needs and improvement opportunities map.
03
Structure

Define the implementation roadmap. We present a phased strategy, integrating the most suitable solutions for your operation: qualified supply, generation, efficiency, automation, backup, or energy infrastructure.

Deliverable
Comprehensive energy transition plan.
04
Support

We support the implementation, operation, and evolution of the project to ensure continuity, stability, and sustained energy control, generating results from the very first stages.

Deliverable
Continuous monitoring and permanent optimization.

Verifiable institutional
authorization

All permits are current and verifiable in the public registries of the CRE and CENACE.

Our story

From uncertainty to competitive advantage

Kualion was born from a specific realization: industrial companies in Mexico don't lack energy; they lack the judgment to manage it. Energy decisions were being made without sufficient information, with advisors who had no real market exposure and no accountability for execution.

That gap was the opportunity. We built Kualion from engineering toward strategy: first we mastered the technical side, then the market, then the regulation. The order matters because energy does not allow for improvisation.

2014–2016
Technical origins

Founded by engineers with a background in large-scale electrical infrastructure projects. Our technical foundation defines the company's DNA: understand first, recommend second.

2016
Opening of the MEM

We obtained our Qualified Supplier (CNE) permit and Market Participant (CENACE) contract, authorizing us to operate in the Wholesale Electricity Market (MEM).

2018–2022
Scale and global portfolio

Onboarding of our first Fortune 500 clients. Expansion to over 270 MW under management and development of our associated generation portfolio. Consolidation of our specialized technical team.

2023–present
Today: certainty as a service

Kualion acts as a long-term strategic partner for large-scale industrial consumers. Energy uncertainty is no longer a problem for our clients; it has become their competitive advantage.

Team and leadership
